Who we are
Sandwich Electrical is a trading name of NordSys Electrical Ltd, based in Sandwich, Kent. The site is sandwichelectrical.co.uk. Contact: hello@sandwichelectrical.co.uk.
What we collect
- Name, address, postcode, town, phone number, email, whether you use WhatsApp, and the job description you submit through the contact form.
- Photos you send to us on WhatsApp or by email.
- Basic server access logs (IP and user agent) kept by our host for security.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, quote the work, carry out and invoice the job, and keep the installation records required by Part P and BS 7671. Legal basis: legitimate interest for replies and performance of a contract once a job is agreed.
How long we keep it
Job records and certificates are kept for six years after the work is done, in line with HMRC and Part P expectations. Unanswered form enquiries are deleted within twelve months.
Who else sees it
Nobody routinely. The form submits through our host (Krystal), sends email via Resend and lands in our business inbox. Paper certificates may be sent to your local authority as part of Part P notification. We do not sell or rent contact details to anyone.
Your rights
You can ask to see a copy of what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted. Email the address above and we will reply within a month. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
The site itself does not set tracking cookies. Embedded YouTube how-to videos may set cookies if you click play — that is YouTube, not us.
